Bill Robbins, CEO of Convergent
Venture LLC. Mr. Robins is an experienced manager and entrepreneur with 17 years
of business development, product development, product management and research
experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology and contract
clinical research industries. Previously, He served as V.P of Business Development
with Bio-Imaging Technologies, a medical imaging and clinical research company.
During his tenure, the company executed an IPO, a $1.25 million
strategic partnership with Corning Pharmaceutical Services, and sold over $6
million in clinical research contracts to companies such as Immunex, Nycomed,
Cordis, Pfizer and Janssen. He has held marketing and new product development
positions at Warner- Lambert and account management positions at the
medical division of Grey Advertising, Inc., in New York. Mr. Robbins has
experience in the private equity, venture capital and public equity markets.
Mr. Robbins holds an A.B in psychology &
biology from Dartmouth College and a M.B.A. in marketing from Columbia Business
School. He is a member of the Capital Access Committee of the Southern
California Biomedical Council, President of the Columbia Business
School of
Southern California and a board member of the Dartmouth Club of Los Angeles.

Samuel Hao is an internal business
advisor and consultant for China Healthcare Consulting in China. He
is also a general
marketing and sales director for Western China Pharmaceutical, a leading
pharmaceutical company in Sichuan. Prior to joining WCP, Mr. Hao took various
senior management positions in foreign pharmaceutical companies in China
including regional sales and field training manager for Pfizer and research
executive for Isis Marketing Research Company. Mr. Hao has strong experience in
strategic planning and marketing research for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical
and medical device products.

Maurille Fournier, Ph.D. is a Professor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst for the Department of Biochemistry. Dr. Fournier has more than 30 years research experience in molecular biology, and is a highly regarded biochemist in the small RNA world with over 100 publications in scientific journals. He was the first to discover the biological functions of more than 100 RNA genes in humans and held several key patents in the field. He was the recipient of multiple million dollar research grants from National Institutes of Health in the United States. Beside his academic achievements, Dr. Fournier is also a successful administrator. He served as
Chairman of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He received a Bachelor degree in organic chemistry, and Ph.D. in biochemistry from Dartmouth College in the United States.

David Lin is an internal business
advisor/consultant for China Healthcare Consulting in China. He also serves as an
assistant to the CEO of Sichuan Biological Products Inc., a leading vaccine and
blood preparation manufacturer and research institute in China. Mr. Lin has 15 years
of quality control, new vaccine development, and operating management experience
in the biopharmaceutical industry. During his tenure, he was responsible for the
approvals of several biopharmaceutical products including interferon, vaccines
for hepatitis B and meningitis. He is a member of the standing committee for
drug regulation and evaluation in China.

Winfried Pick, M.D, associate professor of Institutes of Immunology at University of Vienna Medical School in Austria, a world leading research institute in immunology. Dr. Pick has more than 15 years research and clinical experiences in immunology, and has published dozen of research articles in scientific journals. He graduated with M.D. with honors from the University of Vienna Medical School, and served as assistant professor after the graduation. He was awarded the Best Thesis Dissertation for his M.D. training. During 1997-2000, he spent his sabbatical in Harvard Medical School and made several important discoveries in the area of AIDS research.
